You never know how good you may feel in fake leather; stick on tattoos and a large vibrating machine between your legs.
1770 – totally unexpected and brilliant! This is a great spot for some R&R, after all, travelling can be exhausting…
If you’re making your way along Australia’s East Coast you will be visiting Hervey Bay aka. Fraser Island or moving up towards the Whitsundays. Within this massive stretch of coastline is a small spot named Agnes Water, or what the tour guides call 1770. I wasn’t sure if stopping here was worth the visit, but it breaks up the journey nicely for a 1 or 2 night kip.
The buzz word along the coast is: Skooteroo.
Possibly one of the most fun activities along the East Coast of Australia, even for someone like me who isn’t a big fan of driving; roads or motor heads. So, what’s the appeal?
You get to look bad ass.
It’s a 3 hour round trip of this penny sized town for roughly $50. Pit stops include a photo op (as above) and a chilled out coastal sunset.Did I mention you get fake stick on tattoos? All gear is provided: jacket, helmet, shoes (if needed) and a pre-test drive. Note to self: its not like riding your bike at home. It has an engine….
If you’re heading down the coast make sure you enjoy this mini-motorbike madness. You never know how good you may feel in fake leather; stick on tattoos and a large vibrating machine between your legs.
